WiFi Streamer iOS Now Free to Download

Developer 24/7 apps has announced a promotion for their cool WiFi Streamer app which enables any iOS 5 customer to transfer content from their portable device over to their computer.

Free for a period of 48 hours, WiFi Streamer lets you playback or download songs from device on any computer, using a local WiFi connection. In other words, no more iTunes.

All you need to do is to direct the computer’s web browser to the IP address specified on screen. After the connection is established, simply click the song you want to hear or download in your web browser. Firefox users will need an add-on called DownThemAll.

Version 1.5 released last week includes a crash fix. WiFi Streamer is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
