The long-awaited Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (Wi-Fi only) has finally arrived in the United States.

AndroidCentral reports that many Wi-Fi Galaxy Note 8.0 users have confirmed having the update on their tablets. The update is a bit smaller than 700MB and can be downloaded and installed OTA (over the air) or through Samsung Kies desktop software.

We recommend Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 users to upgrade via Kies and back up everything they have on the tablet. That's because it appears that some Wi-Fi Galaxy Note 8.0 tablets were affected by strange bugs after the update.

There have been several reports from users who have installed the update and who claim that the multitask capability does not work as it should, while others experience some S Pen issues.

Apparently, Samsung is aware of these issues and it is working on a fix, but we are yet to receive a confirmation. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
