Why Would Anyone Cheat on Such a Hottie?

I think you could say that some ladies out there really have it all: good looks, money, a successful career and a famous (also young and good-looking) husband. But apparently, even a world-famous hot singer, married to one of England's top football players of the moment can't breathe easy and get on with her picture perfect life. I'm talking about "Girls Aloud" singer Cheryl Cole who is (still) married to famous Chelsea football star Ashley Cole - and who was recently humiliated after it was publicly revealed that her husband cheated on her at the end of last month, during a night spent clubbing in London. Ouch! I won't be starting with the "men are pigs" routine - not yet anyway - but I can't help wondering why any guy in his right mind would cheat on a girl like Cheryl? If someone can help me figure that one out, please let me know.

Cheryl and Ashley haven't met since the news of Ashley's infidelity broke. Cheryl has been enjoying a break with her band in Thailand, as well as a stint in the States. She's heading home to Britain today, where Girls Aloud will attend the Brit Awards - where they are in the running for best band. She's been spotted over the past days not wearing her wedding ring, which I think is very bad news for her cheating husband. She's also said to be planning a little surprise for him, choosing to check in at a London hotel rather than go home and meet him.

"Cheryl lands this afternoon and is heading straight to her hotel. She won't be going back to her and Ashley's Surrey home at all. She can't face a showdown with him ahead of one of the biggest nights in her band's career. This is the first time the girls have been nominated for a Brit Award and they intend to enjoy their night. They are planning to get ready together and have a big girly blowout", a friend of the singer reported. "Cheryl is on top form after her break in Thailand and LA and has no intention of letting reports of Ashley's infidelities ruin her night". Way to go, girl!
