The light sleep of men

Sharing the bed for sex is fine.

But if we talk about sleeping... it doesn't matter the bed's size, from Queen to Superking, sleeping with your man is the worst idea.

Sleeping means escaping other people, the hardships and resting.

But if you want a good night rest, sharing a bed, even a room, with a man, could be tricky as they are too easily disturbed.

A recent study found that while asleep, men's memory goes, his temper falls and he'll become incredibly absent-minded and his cognitive performances drop.

Sleeping alone seems to render the men inert, but "when they sleep with a woman - regardless or not of whether they've made love before dropping off - they are incredibly light sleepers," say researchers from the University of Vienna.

The research concludes that men looking for a good rest should sleep in their own beds.

In fact, social inquest put men and women sleeping together, because this is what couples do but empirical and scientific observations reinforce what every woman knows: women and men sleeping separated would be a whole lot happier, because the slightest noise or movement wakes up a man, and getting asleep again will cost him a lot.

Sleeping in separate beds was considered normal in other times, at least for the aristocracy.

But why do men have such a light sleep?

Researchers believe that for primitive man, sleeping light was essential for survival. In an environment full of dangerous predators, he had to be alert to attacks at all times and be able to defend his family unit.

Modern men may be still instinctively protecting their partner by possessing such a light sleep.

The scientists discovered that women's sleep was unaffected by sharing a bed, they keep sleeping through most noises: thunderstorms, gales, burglar alarms, breaking glass, almost anything except the sound of a crying baby.

That's why sleeping alone is the best way for men and women to ensure their brain power is recharged for the next working day.
