Not so long ago, Samsung launched its AMOLED tablet set, the Galaxy Tab S, with blows and whistles. Since then, the Korean tech giant has been furiously trying to promote its newest devices in an effort to prove that AMOLED screens can blow the competition away.

The company's latest effort towards this end brings us some colorful infographics that answer a few basic questions everybody is pondering when considering whether to buy an AMOLED tablet or not.

For example, if you were curious to know the difference between how LCD and Super AMOLED tablets work, Samsung will do its best to explain. It is using a few technical terms, but it’s nothing too heavy.

Basically, LCD uses a backlight system which cannot self-emit light and requires a backlight unit, while AMOLED comes packed with self-emitting diodes that bring about faster reaction speeds and no residuals.

Anyway, check out the colorfully sweet infographics, and hopefully, you will be able to make a better informed decision as to whether you should actually purchase an AMOLED tablet or not.

I’m in the process of finishing up a review of the larger 10.1-inch model, so I will soon be able to provide you with some screenshots and insight into how the machine actually behaves, so keep an eye out for it!
