The device is being marketed online

Oh, my God! Look what they've done to Winnie! Kids, don't worry! It's for its own good. And it happened before too, when its head was ripped and stuck on a mobile communication device, Dmobo P700, to be more specific.

And since cartoons and gizmos are probably two things kids adore, it's only natural to combine them. And Aigo did just that. Its MV5910 portable media center was recently given a total and cool Winnie the Pooh makeover that attracts kids like honey attracts the bees.

As it was easy to guess, Disney is behind all this. After pimping a lot of players with Mickey's face, the company thinks about the youngsters again and reinvents the popular PMP after attaching some cartoon features directly on the device. After seeing this, I guess I have to admit Winnie looks better than Hello Kittie, which is also overused by the electronics manufacturers in the producing process.

However, the Aigo-Winnie PMP looks great in its milky white - maybe a little too girly - outfit. It reveals a nice 3.5" LCD that would bring the envy of Harry Potter mp3 player. It sports no less than 2GB of internal memory storage, but it is also expandable through an SD card slot. Not to mention these fellows weren't playing at all when introducing an AV output and an image viewer to the version.

Regarding the player's capabilities, it can easily deal with the most common file formats available on the market, such as AVI, VOB, RM/RMVB, ASF, MP3, WMA, DAT and MPEG.

There is also a generous 16 hours of battery life, just the time the kids need to pass over some boring classes or when traveling to some stupid camps. This is definitely going to beat Barbie in popularity.

There seems to be a single issue with this device: it sports the nicest premium price tag of no less than 225 buck a Winnie, I mean a pop!
