I know that sometimes, two people can choose the same thing. Doesn't this ever happen to you? How many times did you go shopping with one of your girlfriends and had your mind set on exactly the same dress/ shirt/ pair of pants that she had chosen? It is not a terrible crime but at least, you don't wear it at the same time with her.
Well, it is also true that sometimes great (fashion) minds think alike but stillsuch fashion crimes should be avoided. Take for example, the two missies in the picture:
Carmen Electra and
Christina Milian. Notice anything? Yes, you are rightsame shirt. More than that, same evening event. The mentioned above shirt is a sheer
Viktor and Rolf for H&M and the girls appeared wearing the same shirt at the line's launch party in L.A. Love the blouse, I must admit it! Now, to get back to the way they worn it.
Carmen Electra tried to funk up her look wearing shorts and boots. Now, those sun glasses look like they were put on just because she was out of head bands. Her nails lookblack. Mhmif she would have really gone for the black-white contrast outfit, shouldn't she have dyed her hair white?? That wasn't funny, was it?:). Don't get me wrong, it's not that I hate her outfit or her for that matter, but I just don't dig the way she wears that exquisite blouse. And I have to say that those pantyhose don't fit in. I'm sorry, but that's my opinion. Not a very good night for you, hah, Carmen?
On the other hand,
Christina Milian chose to adopt a more classic look and paired the shirt with a high-waisted pencil skirt. Looking at the picture, I think that this look really works wonders for the petite singer. Simple outfit but most efficient, I would say. Nice hairdo and earrings, a combination of golden and black bag to complement the golden stripes seen on her classic model shoes. French manicure, is it? I believe so. Subtle enough to be just beautiful. Don't you think?
I think my conclusion is obvious by now. I shall indeed choose Miss Milian as the winner here, no doubt about it, for the class and beauty that she "donned" and for the inspired choice of clothing. Way to go, Christina! Looking forward to seeing more of that style and less of the more non-inspired ones.
