Whitney Houston’s Teenage Daughter Krissi Is Also in Rehab

Bobbi Kristina, or simply Krissi, Whitney Houston’s 18-year-old daughter, is getting help for her drug and alcohol issues in rehab. She was the one that got Whitney to do the same earlier this week, it has emerged.

Some weeks ago, Krissi was involved in a gun battle, when her half-brother pulled a gun on the guys she was with at a gas station.

Police records indicate that she was well above the driving limit (she wasn’t driving, though) and that she was cited as a minor in possession of alcohol.

Before that, reports and photos suggested that she had a drug problem as well, with “spies” saying she was going down the same path of substance abuse as her famous mother.

When Whitney tried to confront her just recently, Krissi lashed out and would only agree to go to rehab if her mom did the same, The National Enquirer claims in its latest print issue (story via here).

“‘If I go to rehab, you’re going, too!’ In a brutal mother-daughter showdown, longtime substance abuser Whitney Houston threatened to send her troubled teenage daughter Bobbi Kristina to rehab. But Krissi… shrieked back that she wasn’t going alone!” the tab writes.

Whitney reportedly tried to make the teenager see that she was “ruining the family name” but all she managed to do was to make her mad – and to threaten she wasn’t going to get help unless Whitney got it too.

“What about you? You’re the one who’s destroying us! You’re the one who’s a mess! If you can do drugs and booze, so can I! Now you’re demanding I go to rehab. If I go, you’re going too!” Krissi reportedly told her mom.

In the end, the two agreed to seek treatment together, though at separate facilities. They’re both out-patients, though, which means they’re not supposed to spend 30 days under lock and key, and can even go out to have fun if they’re accompanied by a monitor.

“Mother and daughter are outpatients at rehab centers in Malibu that are 15 miles apart. The facilities allow Whitney and Krissi to go home at night instead of keeping them under continuous supervision,” The Enquirer says.
