After Whitney Houston’s death, it seemed that her family would not let money issues or anything else come between them, as they mourned together the passing of the singer – and even had some of their grieving process documented on camera for a short-lived reality series. Things have changed considerably.

For the past few weeks, Nick Gordon, who was raised by Whitney as her son, though he was never legally adopted, and is now married to Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina (aka Krissi), has been posting angry tweets and photos of his weapons arsenal.

It all started after getting into a fight with Krissi’s cousin at a family function, when Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law, intervened to calm the spirits. Nick seems to believe she should have taken his side in the argument and he’s extremely furious that she didn’t.

Over the course of several days, he kept tweeting veiled threats at Pat and her family, but also photos of guns, though he never mentioned her name in the posts accompanying them. Still, Pat believes this alone is reason for concern, so she asked a judge for a restraining order to protect her.

TMZ informs that she got it, and now Nick isn’t allowed to come anywhere near her and her family. Nick has been served with the papers earlier this week but he says he doesn’t “give a [expletive]” about it because he wasn’t planning on visiting Pat anytime soon either way.

He doesn’t care if the entire Houston family turns their back on him because he has the support of the one person who matters the most: Bobbi Kristina. After the family dispute, she too became even more active on social media, tweeting about how Pat “will never be a REAL Houston” and how she’s a coward and it’s all “#gameon” from then on.

Neither Nick nor Kriss mentions the actual reason of the family feud but, even so, they make it very clear that the rift is permanent.

The two have actually been drifting apart from the family for some time, mostly because of their romantic involvement, which was deemed close to incest by some relatives, including Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Whitney’s mother.

Krissi has always fought them, just like she’s done all those saying she was dating her brother. According to a statement she released right after they got engaged, this was what Whitney had always wanted, for her and Nick, the boy she raised, to grow up, fall in love, and get married. Whitney’s dream, if she really had it, seems to have cost Krissi her extended family.
