Since Whitney Houston’s death, her ex-husband Bobby Brown was repeatedly blasted for introducing her to heavy drugs. Turns out, it was her older brother Michael who introduced her to crack cocaine.

The admission comes in a new interview with Oprah for her Next Chapter, as the video embedded below can confirm.

“We got into drugs, we did that together too and it just got out of hand – it was rough,” Michael tells Oprah.

He says he feels pain and regret for not taking better care of his younger sister.

“At the time, in the ‘80s, it was acceptable. In the entertainment industry, it wasn’t a bad word like we have now. It just happened… I can’t say exactly when. We were traveling, late 20s, that money, just got caught up… it’s been a battle ever since,” Michael further says.

I loved Whitney as a star and as a person my youngest daughter who looks a little like her did an im personation in a show at school and i was so proud.drugs are so devastating, look at all the people we have lost,it ran thru one of my family members on a train bound for hell.whitney was so talented its such a shme ,no a crime we lost her ,now i hear her brother introduced her to these deadly drugs and it breaks my heart again.i dont know the reason i took her death so hard,i guess i felt such a waste.i hope she sings with the angels now.

I know mothers want to think the best of their sons and daughters when it is something negative about our children we tend to blame other people(Bobby Brown) for their(Whitney Houston) choices. Mrs. Cissy we understand. Now that you know that it is your very own son that introduced your daughter to drugs are you going to dislike him as much as you dislike Bobby? Hopefully you find in your heart to forgive Bobby and to apologize to him and make amends for the sake of your granddaughter B. Christina, if not you are probably going to find yourself dealing with the same resentment from your granddaughter towards you that you have towards Bobby then you will feel the same pain that you have caused him. Remember we all have an appointment with death and "forgiveness " is the answer. Evidentally, your daughter Ms W Houston had a forgiving heart. Man can only judge the outside. But God judges the heart! RIP WHITNEY!

It's not his fault. No one put a gun to Whitney's head or twisted her arm.

Has the Houston Family formally apologized to Bobby Brown and asked for his forgiveness for the their accusations about his role in Whitney's drug addiction and the effects those accusations had on his marriage to Whitney?
