Following the resignation of Stephanie Fohn, who had been the CEO of WhiteHat Security since 2004, Jeremiah Grossman, the company’s founder, has been named interim CEO. Grossman will hold this position while the organization’s board of directors looks for a new executive chief.

From 2004 and until now, Grossman has been the company’s chief technology officer.

Fohn has resigned due to personal reasons. Grossman has acknowledged her accomplishments as CEO, highlighting the fact she has helped the company raise more than $54 million in funding, and increase the staff to over 350 worldwide.

“Our mission has always been to protect the web, company by company. I am excited to help lead this company as we continue to push the bounds of web security forward, something that I have been passionate about for more than a decade,” said Grossman.
