One handset that should have come more than half a year ago, but got delayed a few times since, is the white iPhone 4, recently spotted in Best Buy's internals in the United States, and now seen in AT&T's online system as well.

AT&T’s Online Account Management system (OLAM) shows the white-flavored iPhone 4 device in a drop-down list, next to the black colored version of iPhone 4, and to the white variants of iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G.

Two entries were spotted there, namely “iPhone 4 – 16GB White” and “iPhone 4 – 32GB White,” a recent article on BGR notes.

As one might imagine, no specific info on when the device might become available for purchase emerged for the time being.

However, rumor has it that the white version of iPhone 4 might become available for purchase sometime in February or in early March.

What should be interesting to learn is whether Verizon Wireless would also receive its share of a white iPhone, following the availability of a black CDMA device on its airwaves in early February.

The white iPhone 4 was initially expected to hit the shelves last summer, when the new device model was launched officially on the market.

The device got delayed a few times before, but started to make it to the headlines again the past few weeks, which suggests that it might be finally headed to shelves.

Rumors on its near availability emerged stronger in early January, just before the Cupertino-based company went official with the release of its iconic device on Verizon's network in the United States.

Provided that the white version of the iPhone 4 is indeed set to arrive soon, it should be seen which other markets around the world would receive it too (the handset was seen at UK carriers too).

The white iPhone 4 was spotted not too long ago in Best Buy's systems too, with rumored February 27th launch date, but nothing was confirmed officially on the matter for the time being.
