14 DAY TRIAL // A white Xbox One console bundled with the upcoming third-person shooter Sunset Overdrive was briefly posted on a French website, and then promptly removed.
French website Micromania listed the white Xbox One bundled together with Insomniac Games' upcoming shooter with a prospective release date of November 28, listed at the usual price of €400.
The bundle, listed as "Xbox One Blanche," is now nowhere to be found, but the screen cap is proof enough. Its description listed it as a store exclusive offer, but it's highly likely that the yet unannounced bundle will be available everywhere, or at least in Europe initially, when Sunset Overdrive drops.
Taking into account the fact that modded consoles have been pretty popular, with users jumping at the opportunity of getting a pimped-up limited edition, and considering how Sony has already announced several video game-themed PlayStation 4 editions, some exclusive to Japan, and others available worldwide, such as the white PS4 in the Destiny bundle, odds are that this leak is legitimate.
Microsoft has yet to make a statement regarding the white Xbox One, but rumors of its existence have been going around the Internet for quite some time, mostly with reports of white consoles being given out by company employees.
