The newest offerings from Apple’s Special Deals section include a $759 White MacBook equipped with a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and the Aluminum, 13-inch MacBook Pro with the same processor, a more superior design and a couple of useful additions for $929.

Saving customers $190 on the purchase of a new Mac, the Refurbished MacBook 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo comes equipped with a 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, and Apple’s built-in 7-hour battery. The system retails for $759 and is available for a limited period of time from Apple’s Special Deals area of its online store. The Mac maker will ship it for free in three to five business days.

A far more substantial saving can be done by purchasing Apple’s Refurbished MacBook Pro 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It costs $929.00 ($270 off its original price) and ships with the same 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display, 2GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive, the 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), an added SD card slot, the built-in 7-hour battery, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, and features an illuminated keyboard. Just like its white, polycarbonate counterpart, the system ships for free, albeit more rapidly - 24hrs.

About Apple refurbished products
