Last month, mobile phone carrier Verizon wireless made some new Android-based LTE-capable smartphones available for purchase on its network, and the Samsung Stratosphere was one of them.

The mobile phone was made available all dressed up in black, but it seems that a white version is also headed for shelves.

Starting with the Black Friday, the white variant of this mobile phone should become available at Best Buy, at least this is what a leaked screenshot that emerged over at Android Central shows.

This is not the only smartphone that will be available as part of a special deal at the online retailer on that day, it seems, but the fact that it will be dressed up in white makes it a bit more appealing, that's for sure.

The Samsung Stratosphere landed at Verizon with a large four-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display on board, complemented by a five-row QWERTY keyboard that slides from beneath it.

The handset is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird application processor, and features 512MB of RAM inside, along with the possibility to expand its internal memory by up to 32GB via a microSD memory card slot.

The mobile phone also sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 1.3MP camera on the front, great for video calling.

The specifications list of the new device also includes 4G LTE connectivity, along with 3G support, WiFi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as Mobile Hotspot options.

The same as the black flavor of the device, the white Samsung Stratosphere will be released on shelves with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board, as well as with support for various applications and games, and for services from Google and Verizon as well.

At the wireless carrier, the Stratosphere goes for $149.99 (110 Euros) after a $50 mail-in rebate and with the signing of a two-year contract. On November 25th, it will be free at Best Buy, though the two-year agreement is mandatory.
