White Nokia Lumia 800 Already on Pre-Order in the UK

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced a new, white flavor of its Lumia 800 smartphone only a few days ago, and the device is already available for pre-order in the UK.

Lumia 800 is the first Windows Phone device from Nokia, and has been available for purchase in the UK ever since November.

However, mobile phone users in the country were able to purchase only the Black and Cyan flavors of the device until recently, when the Magenta Lumia 800 was made available.

Now, they can opt for the white version of the mobile phone as well, although the handset was not yet made available for purchase. Nevertheless, they can reserve one for when that happens.

Online retailer mobilefun.co.uk is the one to have the new mobile phone on pre-order at the moment, and it offers the device SIM free for £429.95 ($683 / 515 Euros).

The color of the case is the only thing that the new flavor of Lumia 800 brings new into the mix.

It arrives with the same 3.7-inch touchscreen display as the other color versions, and it can deliver the same 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

Moreover, the handset packs a 1.4GHz application processor inside, along with 512MB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

On the back, it features an 8-megapixel photo snapper, with support for HD video recording. Moreover, the new device sports WiFi, MicroUSB, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and support for 3G networks.

Lumia 800 runs under Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 operating system and has all of the features the platform supports. The handset also comes with social networking capabilities, offering fast access to Facebook and Twitter.
