Interestingly enough, the US federal government actually answered a couple of petitions from the general public, inquiring as to whether American authorities ever established contact with alien civilizations. The answer, as expected, is no.

“The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race,” White House Office of Science & Technology Policy official Phil Larson said on November 4.

The representative added that there are also no credible information that may suggest any evidence is being hidden from the general public. Among themselves, the two petitions got around 17,500 signatures on the “We the People” website, which belongs to the White House.

Larson concluded by saying that no discernible evidence of alien presence here on Earth was ever presented to the federal government, or any of its agencies, Space reports.
