Mobile phone carrier Sprint is apparently nearing the release of a white flavor of its HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone.

The company has been rumored before to plan making the move, but no confirmation on the matter has emerged so far.

Today, however, users can see a white version of the smartphone being teased on the carrier’s website, which suggests that it might not be too long before the device makes an official appearance.

The white-and-silver EVO 4G LTE that can be seen on Sprint appears different from the black flavor that is currently up for sale at the wireless carrier.

Hopefully, this is not a simple marketing mistake, and the high-end Android-based phone will indeed arrive on shelves sooner rather than later. Stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
