Mobile phone users in India interested in the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone can now purchase it for less than at launch, roughly 10 days ago.

While released at Rs. 51,499 ($848/€615) on April 11, the mobile phone is now available through online retailer Flipkart at only Rs. 46,400 ($764/€554).

Only the white version of the device has seen this large price cut, but the Black variant is cheaper as well, priced at Rs. 49,999 ($824/€597) at the moment.

According to the online retailer, the white Galaxy S5 is currently in stock and will ship to orders in 2 or 3 business days. The black variant, however, will need 6 or 7 business days to arrive in user’s hands.

The Galaxy S5 was made official in February with a 5.2-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.5GHz quad-core processor packed inside, paired with 2GB of RAM.

The handset also features 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and the usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors, along with a 2800mAh battery inside.

Moreover, it sports a 16-megapixel camera on the back, along with a 2MP front camera, and Google’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system loaded on top, complemented by Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI.
