Three UK has just announced that the white version of Galaxy Note is coming to its network, providing users with more options when it comes to the purchase of a new, highly appealing device.

Galaxy Note is the largest Android-powered smartphone in the world, featuring an impressive 5.3-inch touchscreen display.

Based on the increased interest Three UK customers have showed on this device, the company decided to make it available for purchase. Moreover, they thought of adding the phone to their lineup all dressed up in white.

According to the wireless carrier, the new device is a top touch-enabled smartphone, a milestone in the incredible evolution these devices have seen lately.

“The evolution of the touch screen is something we’ve kept a really close eye on at Three, and I’m sure we haven’t been alone,” Three’s Sylvia Chind notes in a recent post on the carrier’s blog.

“Five years ago, owning a phone that wasn’t entirely controlled by physical buttons was practically unheard of. Believe it or not, in 2007 only 7% of smartphones had a touch screen, compared to a predicted 97% by 2016.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone was unveiled to the world with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display on the front, and with a fast dual-core application processor inside.

Moreover, the new device comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with LED flash and autofocus, capable of recording videos in full 1080P HD resolution. It also features a front camera for video calling.

The handset was packed with 16GB of internal memory and with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space. It sports 3G and WiFi connectivity capabilities, as well as Bluetooth, GPS receiver, and a whole bunch of sensors.
