The smartphone runs under BlackBerry 7 OS and will be free on monthly plans

A new flavor of BlackBerry Curve 9360 will soon make an appearance on shelves at wireless carrier Orange UK, all dressed up in white this time.

The carrier has already added the smartphone to its website on a coming soon page, and confirmed that it will include it in is pay months lineup of devices.

The new handset arrives on shelves with the new BlackBerry 7 OS from RIM, and sports the same features and capabilities as the original device.

It is the most advanced Curve smartphone to date, featuring the same outer design as the previous devices, but packing a fast application processor and enhanced hardware.

“Communication is the key with the BlackBerry Curve 9360 White. Comfortable, ergonomic design encases the full QWERTY keypad and works well with the optical trackpad when sending emails or texts,” the wireless carrier notes.

The specifications list of the new device includes a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features LED flash video recording capabilities, as well as support for 3G networks.

The new device also sports a microSD memory card slot for expanding the available storage space via memory cards of up to 32GB, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.

And there is also the new BlackBerry 7 OS, which features a fast browser, as well as various other enhanced features inside.

“Utilizing the powerful BlackBerry 7 OS you can access all of your favorite social networking apps and keep in touch with friends,” the carrier continues.

“Surf the web using WiFi or take photos using the 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. GPS and video recording features provide the icing on the cake for this fantastic phone.”

The White BlackBerry Curve 9360 smartphone will be released at Orange UK for free on select monthly plans. At the moment, the mobile phone can be seen on the carrier's website here.
