It combines the cooling effect of ice cream with the delicious taste of the popular dish

It's summer and our favorite refreshing dessert is, without doubt, ice cream. But if you are also a fish and chips lover, you should know that a genius mind has created a new ice cream flavor that combines the cooling characteristic of ice cream with the delicious taste of the popular dish of English origin, consisting of battered fish and deep-fried chips.

My mouth is already watering as I'm writing about this, but the best part is yet to come.

According to Metro, the new fish and chips-flavored ice cream is the brainchild of Shane Teare, the owner of Teare Woods Ice Cream Parlour, who is not new to this kind of wacky inventions.

The product is the result of many trials and experiments and comprises a scoop of minty mushy peas, a scoop of fish flavor rolled in scraps, all served up in a cone, and instead of the classic chocolate flakes, the new dessert includes a chip as topping. So, instead of candy bars, creamy caramel or exotic fruits, the new unconventional ice creams will make you eat fish for dessert.

This is not the first time we hear about weird concoctions when it comes to ice cream. In April, we found out that Haagen-Dazs was about to introduce two new vegetable-based flavors in Japan: Tomato Cherry and Carrot Orange.
