The Google I/O developer conference, Google's biggest yearly event, is just a couple of days away. The conference, as the name suggests, targets developers, but is the place where Google introduces its biggest products and updates. For the first time ever, the conference will stretch out over three days.

There will be two big keynote speeches, this is what most people will be tuning into, but for developers, the interesting stuff happens elsewhere, during the 130 technical sessions, or in the 20 code labs and 155 Sandbox partners.

For the first time, Google is also encouraging developers to get involved and there will be over 350 I/O Extended events around the world. You can find out if one is held near you here and join.

Of course, you'll be able to check out the two keynotes and many of the sessions, wherever you are, via the live streams Google will provide.

"This year’s conference kicks off on June 27 with the first day’s keynote at 9:30 a.m. and the second day’s keynote on June 28 at 10:00 a.m. PDT, so tune in early at developers.google.com/io to avoid missing the action," Google explained.

If you are near a computer, the Google I/O website will do, you'll find all the streams, powered by YouTube, there. If you're on the go or would rather check out the streams in bed, the Google I/O mobile app, for Android, will provide the same video streams.

If you really want to get into the action, Google even provides a live blogging app which you can use to, well, live blog any Google I/O announcement or session.

"More than 40 sessions on Android, Chrome, Google+ and your favorite APIs will be streamed live, and all remaining session videos will be recorded and available shortly after the conference on Google Developers Live and the conference website," Google said.

Along with all of this, Google will also be providing interviews with key Googlers as well as guests. Even the After Hours party will be streamed live, so you'll know exactly what you're missing out on.
