When Star Wars Meets the Rubber Ducky

OK, I know that this "device" is pretty unusual, and perhaps many of you will consider it unfitting for this column, but call it a....moment of nostalgia (I never had a rubber bath ducky, however, I am what you could call a moderate hardcore Star Wars fan, if such a thing even exists). Yes, as you can plainly see from the pictures, the Duck Fader from IWantOneOfThose.com is
what a rather twisted mind got when crossing the evil Sith character with an innocent rubber ducky.

Despite the rather strange concepts on which it is based, this rather strange crossbreed could represent a very interesting toy for those of you who have the habit of taking along their rubber toys with them whenever they take a bath, especially since it glows in the dark, generating a very eerie light (especially the red model, that really brings back memories of the Star Wars series).

The Duck Fader measures 11 x 8.5 x 7.5 cm, is made from rubber, painted in fluorescent material, features some very smart water-activated built-in LEDs and, at just 10.35 Euro a piece, could be a very nice gift for your kids (or for yourself, if you feel like a Jedi or Sith lord inside). In any case, whatever the reason, if you do decide to purchase the Duck Fader, be very careful. The Dark Side of the Force is very strong in it.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
