When Men Act like Pussies: The Drunken Stalker, Episode Take That

This piece of news is surely among the funniest I've heard today, so I just had to share it with all of you and ask for your reactions. It's funny how we always assume that male stars - who always promote an image of "uber-coolness" for themselves and always act like they're God's gift to the men and women of the world - are actually honest about this aura of manhood and indestructible courage. Well, sometimes they are, but in most cases they are not - and the latest example are the guys at the freshly reunited band Take That, who have reportedly been very shaken by a drunken fan's attempts to make contact with them.

Take That has currently embarked on a world tour, and were in London when the terrifying ordeal took place. Kidding - about the "terrifying ordeal" part, not about the part where they were in London, at the exclusive Chelsea Harbor Hotel. And it seems that the "crazed fan" - who was in fact a drunken girl in her twenties - tried to follow Mark Owen into the elevator.

Yes, imagine that. I'm sure poor Mark was simply horrified. Girls in their twenties may look vulnerable, but on the inside they're actually tougher than Rambo and the Terminator put together. One single push form such a girl could easily knock four grown men unconscious. And I'm sure she had very dirty plans at the back of her mind, too. Next step was probably to tie them all to their beds and rape them viciously...

"Mark was chatting to her as he was outside having a cigarette and then he told her he was off to bed. She made a dash for the lift, looking crazed and refused to get out so he yelled for security. In the end she was thrown out of the hotel and that was that'. Oh, how scary. Just writing about this gave me goose bumps - all the more so as it seems that all four members of the band had in fact been drinking with a group of female fans (the "crazy fan" included) in the hotel bar.

"They called for security and had her thrown out. After a night on stage they can't be doing with any stress at the hotel" the source added. Um, are the guys playing the old "I'm a virgin" routine all over again? Britney tried that and it didn't work. Terrifying as it may be to deal with a drunken 20-something girl, I'm sure all the guys are fine and will be making a full recovery.
