The parents of a 7-year-old student from Canada have asked for a class photo to be retaken after their disabled son got separated from his classmates.

Miles Ambridge, who is in a wheelchair was included in the class portrait, but he was clearly left aside by the photographer, as noted in the shot above.

According to The Star, the incident took place in Herbert Spencer Elementary School in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Distraught mom Anne Belanger was appalled over the blatant discrimination that took place when the second grade class portrait was taken.

Dad Don Ambridge asked for the photo to be taken once more, and the company employed for the event agreed to do so.

While he doesn't believe that his son was knowingly cast aside, he argues that the photographer should have better thought the arrangement.
