14 DAY TRIAL // A new flavor of the WhatsApp Messenger application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone devices, namely version 2.10.491.0, with some highly appealing enhancements packed inside.
The new application release provides users with the ability to initiate voice calls from within the app, while also bringing along background API so that users could play music.
There are also new smileys available for Windows Phone users, along with fixed notifications, and the option to view smileys on the double wide tile.
Other enhancements that the new app iteration brings include fast resume (if the app is open and you click on the incoming notification, it opens as fast as on Android), support for large images, and the option to back up chat history at start, or via the settings menu.
