The latest update brings another set of enhancements and bug fixes

Windows Phone users will be happy to know that WhatsApp Messenger for their devices has just received a new update. We’re talking about the stable version of the application, not the beta one that gets updated once or twice per week.

Since WhatsApp came back on Windows Phone Store, a few weeks ago, the developers have delivered quite a few updates, though only one brought major new features. Still, every update is welcome as long as it doesn’t break other features included in the application.

The last two updates were supposed to bring bug fixes and improvements, according to the developer’s changelog, and they probably did. Unfortunately, aside from the confirmation that these updates only add these changes, no other details were shared by WhatsApp.

Today, they have released another update for WhatsApp Messenger, which, once again, is supposed to bring “various enhancements and bug fixes.”

As always, there’s a chance that the update might add some tweaks and possibly new features, but we can’t be sure of any of these, so let us know in the comments if you notice anything different.

You can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Windows Phone 2.11.516.0 for free via Windows Phone Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
