The folks over at WhatsApp have just released a new version of the instant messaging application, but for the time being it’s only available for download through its official website.

Until the application gets uploaded to Google Play Store, it remains available as beta, which means that those who wish to install it manually should expect some issues and bugs to be present as well, though this is not necessarily deemed to happen.

Anyway, the latest update for WhatsApp Messenger, beta or not, brings support for Android Wear, which means if you have one of the new Android watches on your wrist, you will be able to reply to messages through this device.

You can also reply with a voice message or choose a predefined answer that’s been included in the update (“Yes,” “No,” “Haha”). As mentioned earlier, the latest version of WhatsApp Messenger is not yet available for download on Google Play store.

However, those who wish to take advantage of the new Android Wear support can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.322 for free from the application’s official website.

Make sure that you have the “Unknown sources” option checked in order to allow installation of apps from sources other than the Google Play Store.
