This beta version does not come with an official changelog attached to it

Another day, another update for the popular WhatsApp Messenger goes live on the developer’s website. This means that the beta version has probably received some under the hood improvements, which are not available for those who only update via Google Play Store.

Tech-savvy users probably know by now that WhatsApp frequently updates its Android application but doesn’t upload these small versions on Google Play until they are thoroughly tested by users.

Most of these beta versions that are available for download via the developer’s website do no come with an official changelog attached to them, while others contain general improvements and bug fixes.

The latest version of WhatsApp Messenger for Android follows the same pattern, so there’s no telling what changes it includes. It certainly brings some bug fixes and possibly minor improvements, but we can’t confirm that new features are available as well.

Anyway, those who wish to be absolutely up to date with the latest versions of the instant messenger can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.244 for free via Softpedia.

The application is fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up. Keep in mind that this is a beta version, so it might be unresponsive at times and you might even experience lags and crashes during use.
