The last update for the official WhatsApp Messenger application for Android devices was pushed to Google Play Store about a month ago. Since then, the developers have delivered quite a few updates for the beta version, but the stable WhatsApp has not received any improvements until today.

WhatsApp developers have recently uploaded version 2.11.238 of their instant messaging application on Google Play Store and, thankfully, this time, there's a full changelog available as well.

According to this changelog, the latest version of WhatsApp has received quite a few nifty features and enhancements. First of all, users can now add the option to group mute dialog to show/hide notifications.

A new option to delete media files when deleting media messages has been included as well, along with the unread count badges for Samsung devices. However, according to the developers, if the latter feature does not work, you should recreate you home screen icon.

Furthermore, some fixes to allow more audio attachments have also been included, along with Slovenian and Azerbaijani translations.

You can now download the new WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.238 for free via Google Play store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
