The folks over at WhatsApp continue to push new updates for their beta versions of Messenger for all mobile platforms, including Android, Windows Phone and Symbian.

The latest version of WhatsApp Messenger beta for Android devices has just been released on the developer’s website, but no official changelog has been attached to it.

We had quite a few updates for the beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices over the last couple of weeks, so fans of the instant messaging service should expect an update for the stable iteration to go live in Google Play Store pretty soon.

The latest beta has been bumped to version 2.11.226, but given the fact that developers have not mentioned any changes being included in this update, we can only assume that it brings small improvements, tweaks and probably lots of bug fixes.

There’s a slight chance that new features are being tested as well, but there’s no way to confirm it yet. Keep in mind that this is a beta build, so you might not get everything to work smoothly.

The application is not available in the Google Play store, but you can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.226 for free via Softpedia. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
