The Android version of WhatsApp Messenger has just received another small update, which is likely to improve the application’s overall performance.

Due to the fact that developers have yet to release an official changelog, we can only speculate on what’s inside this minor update. Those who already have the application installed on their Android devices won’t be notified of the update.

The new version of WhatsApp is not yet available for download via Google Play Store, and it will probably never be. However, those who wish to be up to date with the latest iteration of the popular instant messenger can update manually.

You can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.140 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
