The new release comes as a small update to the popular app

The popular WhatsApp Messenger application has seen yet another update on Android devices, and is currently up for grabs as version 2.11.133.

The new build appears to have been pushed out as a minor update, and the fact that it hasn’t been released in the Google Play Store confirms that.

However, WhatsApp did make the software available through its own servers, and those who would like to take it for a spin can do so, although they might not enjoy major enhancements.

Those who haven’t had the chance to enjoy the benefits of WhatsApp as of now should know that it allows them to chat with their friends for free, as long as they have the app installed on their devices as well.

Users can download WhatsApp Messenger for Android from Softpedia for free today. The messaging service is free as well, though only for one year, after which one will have to pay $0.99 (€0.73) per year to continue using it.
