It’s a busy day for BlackBerry fans. The Canadian company has just announced the BlackBerry Z30 and has confirmed that the OS 10.2 update will arrive in mid-October, and now a new version of WhatsApp Messenger is available for BlackBerry 10 users.

Keep in mind though that the new iteration is aimed at BlackBerry 10 devices and will not work on smartphones powered by previous versions of the platform.

Among the most important changes included in the new application, we have noticed the new UI for sending photos. That will allow users to send multiple photos at the same time.

In addition, WhatsApp Messenger users will now be able to see message previews. Support for sharing contacts from the Contacts app has been introduced as well, along with the option to share multi-selected photos from the Pictures app.

Lots of bug fixes have been delivered as well, though no additional details have been unveiled on them. You can now download WhatsApp Messenger 2.11.66.1 for Blackberry 10 via Softpedia.
