WhatsApp fans will be pleased to know developers have just pushed a new update for the Windows Phone version of the instant messaging application.

The team behind one of the most popular mobile applications confirmed that the latest update addresses some issues and adds support for a few more languages.

The official changelog is pretty short and mentions that WhatsApp Messenger for Windows Phone now supports new languages, such as Arabic and Greek. In addition, developers included lots of miscellaneous bug fixes, but no further details have been provided.

You can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Windows Phone 2.11.298 for free via Softpedia. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 7.5 and up. Keep in mind that, while WhatsApp is free to use, you will have to pay $0.99/year after the first 12 months.
