What to Do with Windows Vista Leftovers?

Now, it is a generally known fact that Microsoft has poured no less than half a billion dollars in the marketing campaign for Windows Vista. And the fact of the matter is that the Windows Vista
Wow has saturated the world. I have said not just once that Microsoft has bought every nook and cranny of space available and stuck a Windows Vista advertisement on it.

But in the land down under the Windows Vista Wow marketing Campaign was taken to a whole new level. I'm getting by the pictures (courtesy of Long Zheng) that the mastermind behind this advertising marvel is not a big Windows Vista fan. Or of the Microsoft 2007 Office System, for that matter.

This is a clear example of what to do with Windows Vista leftovers. Transform them into... dare I say it? Into a Play Station 3 ad. Well, technically speaking this is not a PS3 ad. It aims to be, and it clearly shows immense talent and a personal style and also the management of priorities.

According to Long Zheng, this is not a random act of vandalism but a laudable initiative from a Tandy Electronics store in Hobart Australia. Furthermore, it actually seems premeditated and not the random result of and accident.

My personal guess is that they heard that Microsoft sold 20 million Windows Vista licenses in the first month, and are hopping that some of the Vista mojo will rub off on Sony Play Station 3. Right now, they are keeping their fingers crossed.
