Samsung has just announced the top-tier device in its all metal-clad Galaxy A line, which arrives in the wild as the Galaxy A7.

It is Samsung’s thinnest smartphone ever produced and its fragile waist of 6.3 mm / 0.24 inches is even 0.3 mm / 0.01 inches sleeker than that of the iPhone 6.

Anyway, a few weeks back Samsung also announced the A3 and A5 models, which are already available for purchase in select markets.

The Galaxy A family will replace Samsung’s first metal-framed smartphone, the Galaxy Alpha, a premium device selling for a robust price tag.

The Galaxy A is said to focus more on affordability although the prices here are by no means negligible. Anyway, if the Galaxy A series appeals to you but you are a little bit confused regarding the models in the lineup, good old Sammy jumps to your aid.

What sets the Galaxy A3 apart from the A5 and the A7?

The Korean manufacturer wants to make things simpler for you, so you can get a clear image of what each model brings to the table, so it has received an infographic highlighting the differences between the three handsets.

It’s all very straight forward so, for example, you get to see at a glance that the A3 has a 4.5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy A5 boasts a 5.0-inch HD Super AMOLED screen. Last but not least, the newly introduced Galaxy A7 arrives with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen.

As you can see, the Galaxy A7 is the most powerful out of the three, a fact that’s highlighted by the presence of the 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor / 32-bit octa-core Exynos 5430 CPU (depending on the market).

The Galaxy A7 will probably be making its way onto several markets in the upcoming weeks and we should expect it to arrive with a price tag revolving around $500 / €423.

Meanwhile, take a look at the infographic to check out the differences between the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7.
