The version 6.0 of Drupal CMS marks a new success in the long series of Drupal

releases: "After one year of development we are ready to release Drupal 6.0 to the world. Thanks to the tireless work of the Drupal community, over 1,600 issues have been resolved during the Drupal 6.0 release cycle. These changes are evident in Drupal 6's major usability improvements, security and maintainability advancements, friendlier installer, and expanded development framework. The new features of Drupal content management system make it more user friendly and extensible from the development framework point of view. Drupal version 6.0 provides the opportunity to manage multilingual content in a flexible manner.

For example, all posts could be translated to various languages, Drupal interface has an improved multilanguage support or you can translate it on the fly with the help of a module. The installation process is simplified and the application administration panel allows drag-and-drop actions in the management of menu items, forums and more.

The OpenID support will determine more traffic to your Drupal website, because the visitors having an OpenID account will be able to authenticate automatically through the default login system. Designers can easily define or customize themes by using only HTML and CSS code or other powerful tools like Theme Developer module. The most important aspect in version 6.0 features list is represented by the code optimization, which allows you to implement a higher number of modules on the same page, due to the lightweight character of the loaded code in a certain page.
