Naughty Dog seems to have been impressed by the Photo Mode that Sucker Punch delivered for their PlayStation 4 exclusive action adventure title Infamous: Second Son, and decided to do their own version of it for the upcoming release of The Last of Us Remastered.

Gamers will be able to activate the feature via the pause screen, and there are a ton of options to explore, from various frames to vignettes and other effects you can apply in order to get more striking results.

If you’re curious to see just what kind of results you can get from the in-game app, you can take a look at the screenshots below, showing what some of the development team’s members have been doing while playing the game ahead of its launch.

The devs decided to put the PS4’s share button to good use, offering us a glimpse of the filters and frames that we’ll be able to use ourselves in just a couple of days in order to personalize our screenshots.

Even more, Senior Technical Artist Nathan Horne even decided to livestream his experience on Twitch, walking the users through the upcoming Photo Mode in an extensive session focused on Joel, as captured by DualShockers.

The PlayStation 4 exclusive The Last of Us Remastered is coming out in just a few days, on July 29.
