Lil' Kim used to be so much fun! She was all about outrageous outfits (remember that purple number she donned at the MTV Awards, with one of her boobs hanging out, barely covered by a purple star), funky hairdos and shocking poses! Plus, the fact that she spent a long time in jail, where she reportedly was a badass chick and a very busy artist (she wrote more than two hundred songs while there), was such a major boost for her coolness factor!
Well, sadly, Lil' Kim is not what she used to be anymore and I'm not talking only about her gaining back the few extra pounds that she lost in her post-prison days. In fact, being a little plumper looks good on her and we shouldn't be pointing fingers at her because of that. But WTF is this woman doing to her face? Is she really that much into plastic surgery that she simply can't lay off the botox and the face-lifts for a single week?
This petite rapper first showed signs of becoming a plastic surgery addict back in October last year, when only weeks before her release, she attended some fancy party looking a bit out of sorts. In all fairness, back then too, her face was
so tight that she could barely move it, save from a frozen smile on her lips that she simply couldn't erase. With cheekbones that would have made Elvis green with envy, fuller lips and crayoned eyebrows, Lil' was truly a sight for sore eyes. Unfortunately, she continues to be so today...
This is Kim at David Beckham's welcome party. You can see she's gained some weight. You can also see that she looks constantly surprised and/or annoyed but there's a very logical explanation to it: her brows (as drawn on as they are) are so high up her forehead that she probably couldn't close her eyes even if she wanted. Her face is also a bit more elongated than in the past, which can only mean she might have gotten a face lift and maybe even a reconstructing of the jawline. (P.S. Bet you didn't know I was also a plastic surgeon, did you?)
Anyways, whatever Kim is doing she's gotta stop. It's not pretty and neither is the final result. Looking at her is like looking at my mother finding that pack of cigarettes in my jeans, back in my first year of high school, something like 'Whaaa??? You SMOKE?'... multiplied by a hundred! Sounds funny, I know, but trust me, it wasn't a pretty sight.
So much for natural beauty.
