Colors have various physical and psychical influences on the body, and they can manipulate our mood. A common rule says an individual prefers the light wavelength (colors are nothing more than different values of the light wavelengths) retrieved in its energetic structure. Different energetic structure are impacted differently by a radiation of a specific wavelength. The way the colors act on a person's mood can make a psycho-affective profile of the individual.

Depending on the effects the colors may have on our mood, we can even choose the chromatic hues of our clothes. Live, warm colors (like red, orange and yellow) should be worn more often during the winter, while the cold colors during the summer.

This is what betrays your preferences or avoidance of different colors (these are the colors of the ROY G. BIV spectrum; all the other colors, like brown, are their hues).

RED. Preference denotes dynamism and increased vitality. Avoidance means low vitality, and fear of acting and involving in various actions.

ORANGE. Preference means tendency towards intense erotic experiences and need for sensuality; its avoidance denotes inhibition, excessive shame, psychical frigidity, and frustration.

YELLOW. Preference means aspiration to inner fulfillment, peace and happiness. Its avoidance betrays painful inner retreat and disappointment.

GREEN. Enjoying it betrays psychical mobility and increased adaptability. Its avoidance is connected to rigidity and conservatism.

BLUE is associated with inner harmony and tolerance. Avoiding it means affective frustration, fear of implication in affective relationships, disharmony and lack of trust in humans.

INDIGO is connected to spiritual raise and tendency to detach yourself from the surrounding reality. Avoiding indigo is linked to practical spirit, involvement in reality and materialism.

VIOLET. Its preference is associated with tendency towards ideal affective relationships, the desire for inner harmony and idealism. Its avoidance is linked to estrangement, disharmony, lack of ideals, and fear of disillusionments.
