It looks like Microsoft is also cooking a portable Xbox 360, besides the so rumored and over-debated iPod Killer - the Zune.

From the picture that is all over the Internet, we can guess that it will resemble the DS and that it will feature a QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately, except for the image that might be a fake one, we didn't get more information. We can only suppose Microsoft will react to this piece of really juicy information that is making the today's headline and will continue to do so at least for some days.

On the other hand, we have some other rumors regarding a dramatic price cut for the Xbox 360, strategy that will be put in practice in November when the PS3 will hit the street. Moreover, it seems that an undisclosed source, a Taiwanese OEM component manufacturer to be more precise, stated that the software giant has already negotiated production cost reductions with its suppliers.

But the Zune is still the favorite rumor of every technology specialized magazine. Everyone is trying to get more and more information regarding this 'ultimate gadget' in this never-ending changeable world.

The last undisclosed sources cited by the web based IT & C tech media stated that the Zune will be launched on November 14th, three days before Sony's PlayStation 3 will emerge on the Asian retail market. Moreover, the software giant is determined to spend no less than $500 million dollars in a future to come marketing total campaign.

The software giant is also said to have already contacted iPod's accessories manufacturers in order to design a set of great looking peripherals to go with its player which will sport an amazing 30GB storage capacity and a big display, larger than the one of the 5GB iPod.

Earlier this month it was rumored that Microsoft's Zune aka. 'iPod Killer' will have several targets - the DS Lite, the PSP, and Apple's iPod. Consequently, Microsoft's all-in-one player might be able to playback movies, music and games, having also Wi-Fi capabilities. Moreover, it seems that it will pack almost all the multimedia features of the famous Xbox and it will also benefit from several partners online services or hardware expertise.
