Less than a day since the bombings at the Boston Marathon, the Westboro Baptist Church proves once more that they are a full-fledged hate group.

They have tweeted about God punishing the runners, which in this case implies Him taking three lives in the blasts and injuring at least 141 people, many of whom have suffered amputations.

The tweet is accompanied by hashtag #ThankGod4BostonBombs and it is signed by Pastor Fred Phelps.

According to International Business Times, his daughter Margie has mentioned in another tweet that God is trying to send a message about Americans suffering the consequences of accepting gay marriage.

“BREAKING: Westboro Baptist Church to picket funerals of those dead by Boston Bombs! God sent the bombs in fury over [expletive] marriage! #PraiseGod,” yet another post reads, which means we should expect attempts by Westboro to picket the funerals of the victims.
