Do you fancy a brew? Try the new lamb-infused beer. As weird as it may sound, a Welsh brewer has created a new beer with lamb flavor to celebrate St David's Day.

The new beer, called Sunday Toast, was made by Conwy Brewery from North Wales and combines the aromas of a Sunday roast with a dark ale.

Brewer Gwynne Thomas says they managed to obtain the unusual taste by mixing juice from slow-roasted Welsh lamb with water and sugar during the brewing process. The result is a dark beverage with the aromas of a Sunday roast.

“Seasonal beers are a specialty of ours, but we wanted to do something really different to celebrate our country's national day,” said Thomas, according to Mirror.

“As a brewer, it's great to be able to celebrate this by bottling the essence of Welsh Lamb in a beer and we're truly delighted with the end result,” he added.

However, this is not the first time brewers decide to add an extra-special ingredient to their products. Two years ago, an American couple created the Mamma Mia! Pizza Beer, which got its unique flavor from tomatoes, basil, oregano, and garlic.

Moreover, US-based company Rogue produces the Chipotle Ale, a spicy beer infused with Jalapeno peppers. The same brewery also offers the Voodoo Doughnut Bacon Maple Ale with applewood-smoked bacon and maple syrup.
