A former manager of a Wells Fargo bank and a Best Buy clerk are charged with stealing the identities of nine people, purchasing $29,000 (20,000 EUR) worth of products.

According to My Central Jersey, 21-year old Tinaud Garcon who worked at Best Buy would receive credit card information from Thomas Alexis who was employed at the financial institution. They are suspected of opening numerous accounts at stores such as Sears and Radio Shack.

Alexis was discovered as being Garcon's accomplice after investigators found he was the only one who had accessed the accounts of the victims.

Both men are now indicted by a Somerset grand jury of theft by deception, conspiracy, identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.
