Have you been looking for applications designed especially with Windows Vista in mind? Are you looking for innovative programs to blend with your Vista copy? Then look no further than the Windows Vista Innovation Caf?. Nick White, Microsoft Product Manager, has introduced the website: "At this new showcase site you can discover new applications that take full advantage of the enhancements built right into Windows Vista. The Innovation Caf? features 18 partners and 30-45-second interactive demos of each of their applications."

According to a message posted on the Windows Vista Innovation Cafe, Microsoft is inviting users of the operating system to get a taste of what Windows Vista brings to the "Cafe" table. "See the difference for yourself. We created this site so you can experience the Windows Vista difference firsthand. Go ahead and dive in. You have everything you need to get started. With a few simple clicks, you can interact with several Windows Vista applications right from your browser. Just roll your mouse over one the categories above and see what it's like to shop in a 3D environment, create a media mix you can share with friends, or read online news that captures the feel of reading a real paper."

The applications have been divided into five categories: Business, Lifestyle, News&Sports, Media and Learning. Via the Innovation Cafe you will be able to access the New York Times Reader, British Library Turning the Pages 2.0 and iBloks. With all the trouble Vista users have been experiencing with compatibility and support issues, applications designed especially for Vista bring a breath of fresh air.
