The pink aquatic creature looks very much like something from outer space

It is no news that when we say “biodiversity,” we don't just mean wolves, bears, pandas, and other such mainstream animals, of whose existing on our planet most people are very much aware of.

Quite the contrary, there are some very weird plant and animal species out there, and some look as if they are just visitors from another planet.

Therefore, without further ado, meet the Mexican walking fish, an oddly looking aquatic creature who resembles, if not a pokemon, at least an alien life form.

This particular video shows it feeding at the bottom of its aquarium. Its menu consists of bloodworms, and we can see it gulping its lunch down. As well as this, it appears that it is quite content with what is on the menu.

Just for the record, the scientific name for this creature is the Axolotl, and this weird-looking fish is not so much a fish, as an aquatic salamander.
