Wedding Song, Official Tracklisting for ‘Breaking Dawn’ Announced

Their amazing love story will come full circle: Bella Swan and Edward Cullen of “The Twilight Saga” will dance at their wedding to the song they danced together for the first time ever. The official tracklisting for “Breaking Dawn Part 1” has been released.

Fans of the movies must remember the scene in “Twilight,” the first installment, when Edward (Robert Pattinson) takes Bella (Kristen Stewart) to her high school prom and invites her to dance.

They dance to “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” by Iron & Wine. Summit Entertainment has now chosen the song to be the theme song for their wedding in the upcoming installment, AceShowbiz informs.

“The song is called ‘Flightless Bird, American Mouth,’ and sung by Iron & Wine. It’s the song which was used as a backsound on a prom scene of 2008’s ‘Twilight’ where Edward and Bella danced together for the very first time,” the e-zine reports.

You can check out the song below, just to refresh your memory. Subtle changes may be made to it for “Breaking Dawn,” though.

As if that wasn’t enough to make fans happy, the full tracklisting has also been released, together with the first single off it, which you can also check out below.

Called “It Will Rain,” it comes from hit singing sensation Bruno Mars, who recently said that contributing to the score of the most successful vampire movie saga of our times was the closest thing to a dream come true.

“The ‘Twilight’ movies for me (are) a love story. But it’s a dark love story. And I think the best way to describe the song is: it’s the darker side of love. I think that pretty much sums it up,” Bruno said of “It Will Rain,” as cited by the same publication.

As for how he got started on the song, he said, “[It] started off with me and the guitar... and I just had this melody in my head and basically laid it down after I saw the film.”
