Argentinian hackers of Team Hacking Argentino have defaced several subdomains of the government portals operated by the Brazilian states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais.

“Once again we’ve demonstrated what good security the government has,” the hackers wrote in Spanish on the defaced pages.

The impacted São Paulo subdomains are used by various cities, including Monteiro Lobato, São Miguel Arcanjo, Cunha, and Capela do alto. The website of the Itanhandu city in Minas Gerais has also been defaced.

At the time of writing, all of the targeted sites are still defaced. The complete list can be found on Team Hacking Argentino’s Facebook page.

This is not the first time the government portal of São Paulo is targeted by hacktivists. Other subdomains of the same website were defaced by HighTech Brazil back in June.
